LogMeIn (2016-2017)

Following a very successful series of Executive Breakfasts in 6 European countries to promote their join.me and BoldChat products, LogMeIn have asked us to research, contact and register attendees for their Though Leadership Dinner series focusing on Customer Experience & Engagement for the Retail, Telecommunication, Finance and other industries. They wanted to be able to address specific senior job titles (CxOs, VPs) from major enterprises with minimum 1000 employees.

As LogMeIn wanted to have control over the logistics side of the events, we suggested that we focus solely on attendee acquisition, strict parameters for which would be set by the client: our acquisition team would be contacting only companies from the client's target list, and each new registration would be subject to approval by the client.

  • Design an individual invitation for each event
  • Promote event through social media.
  • Research the target companies, identify the target job functions and job titles
  • Personally contact each target to invite to the event, explaining the merits of the meeting as well as background information on the client.
  • Register each attendee and capture all useful contact data
  • Report on a weekly basis back to client on progress of each event
  • Post event evaluation with all attendees.
For every event we would be briefed by LogMeIn's Marketing and Sales team on the specific companies and job titles they wanted to get in front of. We then took our research material and began the acquisition process for attendees. Throughout the campaigns we stayed in regular contact with the client who knew therefore all along the journey who they would be meeting on the day of the event: every new registration was subject to LogMeIn's approval, so there was no margin for error, and ALL attendees corresponded 100% to the client's focus and requirements.
RESULTS: 3-4 Executive Dinners during each Quarter of the years 2016 and 2017 (minimum 12 dinners per year). Examples:

  • 12/04/2016, London: target 8, achieved 10.
  • 24/11/2016, London: target 8, achieved 11.
  • 09/02/2017, London: target 8, achieved 10.
  • 06/06/2017, Amsterdam: target 8, achieved 10.
  • 06/09/2017, London: target 8, achieved 9.
LogMeIn have signed a yearly contract with us for 2 quarterly events, in addition to which hey have ask us to run more dinners. We intend to produce a minimum of 4 quarterly dinners for them in 2018 (16+ per year) in London, Amsterdam, Stockholm and other European locations.
